Improvements

Sorry, I don't have any pictures for this one but I will keep it short and sweet. I just wanted to let everyone know what is going on in our lives right now. Brody is doing well in all of his classes. He is majoring in psychology and minoring in political science. His psyc classes are pretty much done so he is taking mostly political science classes and those are pretty easy which is nice for him. He does get rather frustrated with the professors in his political science classes, sometimes, because they are very liberal and don't leave any time in the classroom for debate about the subjects. His professors seem to be stuck on the Obama-the-savior phase which irritates him but he is making it work anyway. I'm currently working at Olive Garden I just got hired there as a server/waitress and started last Monday the 19th so I was able to quit Convergy's on Friday the 16th and boy was I excited about that. I am looking forward to a job that is a lot more active. I won't have to answer phones :D , and it is a lot more personal. I do enjoy the job. It gets really stressful often but I'm sure once I get the hang of things than it won't be so bad. I don't think I like it as much as Lowe's but it is a good job and I'm not going to complain. I am very thankful for it. Sometimes I wonder if I will be able to make the money that we need to survive but I trust in the Lord to make it all work out. He got me this job so I'm sure that we will have the money we need somehow. So things are looking well for us. Brody should have his bachelors by this time next year and than we will be looking for a Grad school somewhere for him to go to. Hopefully it will be somewhere warmer but we will keep you updated. Oh and by the way, I'm also working on a poetry book right now, I have about 30 poems written so far and I hope to be able to publish my own book soon so I'm pretty excited about that too. :)

Paintballing; Ken and flag

Ok, so to explain this video before you press play. Brody and his friend Jake were playing against Brody's dad Ken and another friend named Ryan. The game was capture the flag, with one flag in the middle. So we thought everyone understood the rules of the game, which is CAPTURE THE FLAG and don't get shot. Now to signal you got hit, you would hold your gun up in the air. So the game gets started and Ken makes a run for the flag in a clearing that Brody was watching and started firing at Ken. Ken stops and holds his gun up, so Brody and everyone else thinks that he is out, so Brody quits shooting at Ken and shoots at Ryan, because Brody's team would win if Ryan get killed. What everyone doesn't know is that Dad didn't know he had to run back to his side, and just thought the game was over as soon as he grabbed the flag. So Brody ignores Ken and kills Ryan (you can hear it in the video) only to have Ken walk right up to Brody and shoot him, ending the game, and getting Brody pretty mad.

Marie and Kenny were able to come to the reunion on Saturday. Marie had just gotten done feeding him and I just couldn't help but take a picture. He just looked so cute!

Life

Lately work for me has been rather irritating; first they took away my position as team lead, than they gave me a new department manager, one that I really do not like. Than they denied my entry into the 'entry management training program' (which is a program you have to attend and pass in order to become a department manager which would be the next step up for me) so I will have to wait until April before I can even aply for that program again. Which in turn means that I won't be eligiable for a department manager position for quite a while. And than to top it off, Wendy called me and told me that her and Mark were getting a divorce which makes me rather sad but it's what she wants to do and I'll let you ask her if you have any questions.
I did enjoy my vacation in Cane Beds, Mesquite and Cedar. It was pretty nice to see my family again although I do wish I could have spent some more time with my dad but all well. Oh and my dad did tell me that he had purposed to a girl named Patty that he has known for quite a long time. They are planning on getting married in the spring sometime. I don't personally know that much about her, I remember meeting her once when I was like 8 but that is about it. But I am happy for my dad and I hope that the two of them are happy together and that it lasts for a very long time if it is ment to be.
Brody is still going to school. He is doing pretty well in his classes by getting good grades on tests but he still doesn't enjoy it to terribly much but I don't think that he hates it either. He has officially decided that he wants to be an Industrial Physcologist so we will have to move somewhere else once he gets into graduate school because they don't have that program here. We don't know where we will go yet but we will see when the time comes. Work frustraites him often because he works with drama queens but he is making it through.
