Updates

Lets see, new happenings. Brody and I went out and bought a washing machine yesterday, we found it off of KSL so it was only $100 and works pretty well. We were able to get a dryer from Brody's sister Hayley so now we don't have to go to a laundry mat or ask other people if we can use theirs, which is nice (thanks to those who let us use theirs though).
Brody taught me how to drive his truck the other day, not that I didn't already know how to drive a stick shift, but I guess trucks are different from cars. I'm still a little jerky when I drive it, but I'm sure I'll get better over time, I just have to get used to it.
I still really enjoy my position as team lead, I even ended up getting an even bigger raise than they told me I would which is great for us. My only frustration with work is that we have lost three people in my department so it is really hard to get stuff done and I hate feeling like I didn't get anything done at the end of the day. They told Tracy (my department manager) that they were going to hire some more people for our department but than I also heard that they weren't going to, so I guess we will see.
Brody started school last Monday, he's not really enjoying it and complains about all the stupid freshmen that he has to deal with (he is finishing the very last of his generals) and isn't to bored with complaning either, but he knows that it is just something he has to go through to get to where he wants to be. But if all goes as planned he will get his bachelors in about over a year and than he may join the Navy as an Officer where he will have to do training for a couple of months and than the Navy will put him into Grad school for his psychology masters/doctorate degree. His duties will mostly be to help the marines/sailors & and their families suffering from various problems. Also another advantage about the military is that he will always have work regardless of the economy (and by that, he means if Obama wins). Joining the military is something he's always wanted to do, he prefered the Air Force but they won't pay for grad school, so he is stuck with the Navy, but we'll have to see if he wants to transfer to the Airforce after his contracts are done with the Navy, or we will give the civilian counterpart a try.
